Value for money car. No one can beat it in this range. Safety of person is most prior and vw gave us. Very comfortable and spacious car. Volkswagen jetta is a nice car. When I visited Volkswagen showroom first time and saw this car,I wanted to buy it.
I will buy this car within few months. It's look is nice so I gave it 4 star. Pros 1. Cool infotainment system. Great gas mileage. Solid built in safety features. Cons 1. Lack of active space unless upgraded. Cheap feeling interior. Suspension sometimes unresponsive. Volkswagen Jetta.
My car is the one with 2. The quick downshifts make it ideal for overtaking. Jetta has got great comfort, handling and moreover it never breaks down. The company service is also comparatively good. Jetta is one of the perfect car you can buy with? Poor car service. The car is fine, nice to drive, VW servicing network is poor and part supply from VW is pathetic. Dealer don't know when part needed for repairing will come and one is at their mercy , one such dealer in Bangalore is Elite motors VW is unresponsive to customer complaints ,they are left to mercy of ineffective service dealers , AC compressor bad despite being imported , it's horror story.
A very good experience with this car in all ways like in buying or in riding , it is perfect car. Its look is so stylish but only the major thing is missing is sunroof, if sunroof is in this car then i give best car award to this car.
Its maintence cost is too much high its servicing and maintenance cost is genuine. A great automobile. Get inside and its a pleasant surprise,Good space. Smooth engine. Nice gear box. Good midrange. Smooth ride. I repeated, asked for a supervisor and was finally told one would contact me.
Two days later, Julie, the supervisor called. I went through the same song and dance with her. It was like talking to robots. Had an old Jetta manual which was decent, made it to around k miles before the head gasket blew. Initially I was excited to have my Jetta. This noise was with the Jetta from the day I bought it. What transmission grinds like that?
All over the inside of the transmission they said. At only 53k miles!! Luckily it was covered under warranty but VW really needs to straighten this problem out if they have all these grinding transmissions with metal shavings in them. I traded my Jetta in for a Toyota. Never looking back. I bought a new Volkswagen Jetta For years I had problems with the ignition sticking when I would turn the key to start the car.
I brought it into the Haggerty Volkswagen many times and made reports with VW customer service. I checked with different websites and found out this happened to many customers.
VW would not do anything to correct this problem. Now my ignition is completely locked and I need to pay I will never buy another VW product. My car has been in 3 times to fix a loud grinding noise while accelerating going straight or turning between mph. The RPM gauge ramps up. Now my car is idling super loud when starting my car and when it sits with the engine on. The car is under warranty and it is not being addressed. This is NOT a 'normal' noise.
VW needs to issue a recall and correct the problem. I have had my Jetta for 2 years now. I have 32, miles on it and in the past 6 months my car has been in the service department at Jim Ellis VW 4 times for the same issue and it is not getting fixed.
My car is not shifting properly, it is slipping gears and hard shifting. The first time I took it in they cleaned the valve body and gave it back to me and then a few weeks later it started having the same issue again, not shifting properly so I took it back in and at the time they wanted me to leave my car but they could not provide me a loaner vehicle and was giving me a hard time about it but they finally did rent a car from Enterprise for me.
At this time, I just had a newborn so I need a reliable car to protect my child. The second time my car was in the shop they replaced the valve body and gave it back to me and then once again for the 3rd time it started acting up again so I took it back and they replaced the coils and once again for the 4th time I got my car back and not even a week later my car started not shifting properly again. Volkswagen denied my claim to buy back my car because they state it is not a serious issue but when you have your infant in the car with you and it is not shifting properly and has been in the shop repeatedly you no longer feel safe in your vehicle especially with an infant in the back seat.
Volkswagen makes a superior product. My Jetta is comfortable, fun to drive and stylish! Fuel economy is excellent at 34 mpg overall, matching VW's diesel offerings from a decade ago. The cabin is relatively quiet for a compact sedan. A number of advanced safety features, including automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and blind spot warning, are available.
The redesign brought a more spacious rear seat, along with cheaper interior materials and handling that wasn't as crisp. Ultimately the gasoline-powered Jetta scores too low for us to recommend it. The car has been improved gradually since then. The diesel-powered Jetta TDI is a more appealing car; however, it is also one of the VW models called into question for emissions test violations.
If you're considering one of these, make sure it passes smog before you buy it. A mpg hybrid debuted in New for is a refined and energetic 1. A beautifully finished and sharp-handling premium small car, the Jetta has long been a jewel.
Normally aspirated and turbocharged four-cylinder engines, a gruff five-cylinder, a thrifty turbodiesel, and a six-cylinder powerplant have all been offered. Further, the VW has good safety equipment and its crash-test results are commendable. Before its redesign, the backseat was particularly cramped, but the car rode beautifully. For , the Jetta grew larger, and the base four-cylinder was replaced by a five-cylinder with more torque, though its character is somewhat gruff.
The turbodiesel wagon we tested with a manual transmission averaged an impressive 36 mpg. A redesign improved an already capable car and gave the Jetta new styling.
